Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated native English teacher to join our academic team. You will teach small groups of 8-15 students collaborate with local teaching assistants and report to the academic coordinator. Teaching hours average 20 per week with additional office hours for planning and collaboration.

Working Hours

5 days per week (including weekdays and weekends)
Weekdays: 16:30 20:30
Weekends: 09:00 18:15
Breaks scheduled between 1-hour sessions

Class Structure

Class size: 8 to 15 students
Lesson duration: 1 hour per session
Student age group: 3 to 8 years old
Teaching team per class:
o Native English Teacher
o Local Teaching Assistant
o Support Staff

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging student-centered lessons following the designated Oxford curriculum
Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment for young learners
Monitor and assess student progress providing constructive feedback
Collaborate with local staff to align teaching methods with institutional goals
Participate in occasional school events meetings or teacher training sessions

Requirements

Requirements

Native English speaker (passport holder from UK USA Canada Australia or Ireland only)
Caucasian appearance (due to school preference)
Bachelors degree or higher (any discipline)
Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a language center international school or similar setting
Under 35 years old (to align with visa and work permit regulations)
Candidates already in China preferred; overseas applicants must provide clean criminal record and degree authentication
TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (desirable)
Experience with phonics ESL for young learners or KET/PET preparation (desirable)
