As a Primary English Teacher you will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver engaging high-quality English lessons that develop students reading writing speaking and listening skills.
  
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages confidence creativity and a love of language.
  
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs abilities and learning styles of primary-aged students.
  
• Assess monitor and record student progress using data to inform teaching and support student achievement.
  
• Foster strong classroom management and establish clear expectations to promote a respectful and productive learning environment.
  
• Support students in developing critical thinking communication collaboration and independent learning skills.
  
• Contribute to the wider English programme through curriculum planning resource development and enrichment activities.
  
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues parents and school leaders to support student success and wellbeing.
  
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of primary English curricula literacy development and effective teaching practices.
  
• Participate actively in school events parent meetings extracurricular activities and professional development opportunities.
  

• Qualified teacher with Masters Degree in Education / relevant subject disciplines
  
• Be proficient in written and spoken English
  
• The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with teachers and other relevant professionals parents and students;
  
• An understanding of current developments in teaching;
  
• Experience of a range of assessment strategies for identifying students needs and supporting learning;
  
• A commitment to pastoral care within the school;
  
• A commitment to developing students skills through extra-curricular opportunities.
