As a Kindergarten Teacher you will be expected to:
- Create a warm nurturing and engaging classroom environment that supports the social emotional physical and cognitive development of young learners.
- Plan and deliver creative play-based and age-appropriate learning experiences that inspire curiosity confidence and a love of learning.
- Support the development of early literacy numeracy communication and social skills through a variety of interactive activities.
- Foster positive relationships with children parents and colleagues ensuring clear communication and a strong sense of community.
- Monitor and assess student progress maintaining accurate records and providing constructive feedback to parents and school leadership.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and early years education practices.
- Work collaboratively as part of a teaching team and contribute to the development of classroom resources events and school initiatives.
- Create an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and supports the needs of all learners.
- Show a commitment to ongoing professional development and stay informed of current trends and best practices in Early Years education.
- Participate actively in school events parent meetings professional development activities and wider school life.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with Masters Degree in Education / relevant subject disciplines
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with teachers and other relevant professionals parents and students;
- An understanding of current developments in teaching;
- Experience of a range of assessment strategies for identifying students needs and supporting learning;
- A commitment to pastoral care within the school;
- A commitment to developing students skills through extra-curricular opportunities.
