Curriculum Overview
The kindergarten follows the IB-PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) curriculum within a "131" system.
Core IB-PYP curriculum that respects each childs personality and ability through play and exploration
Enrichment classes including STEM Lego Aesthetics Music and Physical Education led by specialist teachers
Real-world learning through field trips and social practice activities that spark curiosity
Inquiry-based lessons delivered in a warm bilingual immersion environment

Position Overview
The Kindergarten Teacher will plan and deliver engaging inquiry-based lessons to children aged 2 to 6 years old. This role uses a homeroom system with one international teacher two Chinese teachers and one caretaker per class. The teacher will assess student progress build parent relationships with bilingual staff support and integrate specialist-led enrichment classes into weekly routines.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM
2-hour noon break (12:00 PM to 2:00 PM)
Class Structure
Class size: 20 to 25 students
Age group: 2 to 6 years old
Teaching team per class:
o International Teacher
o Chinese Teacher (2)
o Caretaker
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB-PYP curriculum
Create a warm bilingual immersion environment that supports exploration and autonomy
Assess student progress and build strong relationships with parents with support from bilingual staff
Integrate specialist-led enrichment classes including STEM Lego Aesthetics Music and Physical Education
Participate in field trips and social practice activities that connect classroom learning to the real world

Requirements
Female native English speaker from South Africa only
Bachelors degree or above; Education major preferred
Minimum 6 months teaching experience; IB or EYFS experience highly preferred
TEFL TESOL or Cambridge CELTA certificate (120 hours minimum)
Eligible for Chinese Z visa in English teaching position
