Job Responsibilities:Main Responsibilities:
To teach the curriculum established by the school integrating the curriculum with the schools Educational Objectives;
To take the responsibility of designing lesson plans that demonstrate a clear connection between instruction and the curriculum established by the school selecting and using school-approved teaching strategies and classroom resources implementing teaching research;
To provide a stimulating and effective learning environment for the students in supporting their learning encouraging students creative thinking and promote critical inquiry;
To maintain close partnership with parents colleagues and the community;
To provide both written reports (termly) and informal communications (where required) to parents on the growth progress and attainment of the students;
To Create a safe orderly and supportive classroom atmosphere that is conducive to effective teaching and learning;
Other duties as reasonably required by the Head of High School;
Requirements
Requirements:
Native English speaker
Bachelors or Masters degree in Education preferred
Teaching qualification
Minimum 3 years full time teaching experience
ESL experience is desirable experience with Chinese students preferred
Excellent classroom management and behavior management skills
Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the schools curriculum strategic plans and policies
Strong interests in leading extra-curricular program
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
