Position Overview
The Secondary School ESL Teacher is responsible for delivering up to 20 lessons per week to small classes of 10-20 students. The role includes lesson preparation assignment correction test administration and student support within a standard office hour schedule.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:30 16:30 (12:00 13:30 lunch break)
Up to 20 lessons per week
Class Structure
Class size: 10 20 students per class
Student age: Secondary school level
Teaching team per class:
o Lead ESL Teacher
o Support Staff as needed
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver engaging ESL lessons following the school curriculum
Assign and correct homework prepare tests and provide student feedback
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment
Track student progress and provide individualized support as needed
Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities
Requirements
Bachelors degree or above
TESOL or TEFL certificate
At least 2 years of English teaching experience
Clean criminal record (not required if already holding a work visa)
Teaching certificate preferred
