About the Opportunity
TheBehavioral HealthServicesandSupportInternwillassistwithprograms andprojects asassigned by role isa great opportunityto gain hands-on experience in the field ofBehavioralHealth working with a variety ofmembersand learning from experienced includesbut is not limited tocollaborating withBehavioralHealthPhysical Health PharmacyQualityManagementNetworkand other support staff to ensure the smooth delivery of services to MVP Health Caresmembers. This internship will be well-integrated intothe manydepartments of Behavioral HealthManagedCareincluding UtilizationManagementCaseManagementand Quality intern willalso gain experience with the development ofBehavioralHealthinterventions Regulatory Committee preparationtrainingdocumentsand many other key areas.

- Education Licensures & Certifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to healthcare public health or a related field
- Required Job Skills
- Strong ethical skills
- Excellentorganizationalinterpersonal skills empathy and effective listening abilities.
- Highly organized and able to work independently.
- Interest in working with diverse populationsandlearning more about the social sciences/ human services and/or managed care industry.

What Youll Do
- Referral Support:Supporting the clinical team with referralassistanceincluding connectingmembers to care.
- Documentation and Reporting:SupportingBehavioral Healthstaff inidentifyingBehavioral Health trends within the membership
- With this task the internwill get to be instrumental in helping toidentifymember needs andcome up withsupportive interventions.
- Compliance:Assistin preparation of materials for regulatoryactivities.
- Outreach and Coordination:Conduct outreach calls schedule appointments and follow up with with the provider network anddetermineappointment availability to support both the MVP membership and Case and Utilization Managers.
- OutreachingmemberswhoutilizeBehavioral Healthservices to encourage attendance at theBehavioral HealthAdvisory Committee
- This includes the opportunity toattendtheBehavioral HealthAdvisory Committee in July if available.
- Responsible for the support of department programs andprojects asassigned by leadership.
- Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
