Reporting within the Financial Services organization this position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day Record-to-Report (R2R) activities including financial reporting journal entries account reconciliations intercompany netting month-end close processes and supporting plant controllers.

What Youll Do

• Support monthly quarterly and annual close activities by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for recurring accounting activities
• Perform account reconciliations; investigate variances and resolve differences with appropriate support
• Monitor accounting data to identify trends variances for potential improvement opportunities and escalate issues as appropriate
• Maintain clear organized documentation to support internal controls and audit requirements
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve accounting-related questions
• Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to updates as processes evolve
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and standardization

• Understanding of accounting best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to adapt to fast pace and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficient understanding of end-to-end business processes from record to internal/external reporting.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting finance or related field
• 2 years experience or Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field

• SAP S4 Hana Fiori experience is highly valued
• Strong technology skills including Excel and other reporting tools
