ProjectHydro Testers
This position is accountable for the hydrostatic testing of all pressure piping pressure relief systempipingand turbo-machinery manifolds as required by jobs.Responsibilities include the test of all pressure vessels exchangers with control columns thermo-weldslevelgaugesand instrument process connection valves
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Comply withall ofTurboFabsEnvironmental Health and Safety Programs Regulations and
Guidelines.
Check own work for compliancetospecifications.
Use all necessary equipment and toolsto perform work.
Ensure that procedures have beenfollowedand quality has not been compromised.
Must keep all areas clean andorderly;andcomply withTurboFabshousekeeping procedures.
Interface with outside inspectors.
Assistin the training of other less experienced Hydro Testers as.
Must follow the Hydrostatic testing procedures.
Must ensure complete and correct set up of the system to be tested.
Must produce and verify accuracy of test charts and other documentation.
Required Qualifications:
This position is fora fullycompetent and qualified employee with one to five years of experiencein thearea ofHydro testing and requires minimal supervision to perform the job.
Mustexhibitthe skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner.
Mustbe able to read and understand test documents.
Mustpossessworkingknowledge of dead weight readers chart recorders and reading flow charts
pipe & ISO drawings.
Good communicationskillsbothwritten and verbal.
Ability to work well with others.
Must have basic knowledge of computer use.
Must be knowledgeable in the use of torque tools and must have the ability to read and understand the
torque value chart.
Must have full understanding and knowledge of the stored energy used during a Hydro Test.
Emphasizing the need for safety of the test crew and personnel in the area.
**Candidates may be placed on any shift dependent on business needs**
Summary Pay Range:
$22.74 - $34.11
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market location job related knowledge skills individual performance and experience.
