Job Description Summary

The Services Systems Engineering team is seeking a lead Technical Program Manager with demonstrated program management experience in new product introduction services expertise or similar to lead the execution of wind turbine services programs. The Technical Program Manager will have responsibility for leading execution of the engineering development of new wind turbine services programs features and programs to improve the reliability and serviceability of existing wind turbines.

A successful Technical Program Manager is self-starting independent and demonstrates ownership over program schedule budget and resource identification including deliverables such as design reviews tollgates bill of material releases product documentation validation lifecycle management and lessons learned implementation. They will work closely with System Engineers Product Line Managers Subsystem Program Managers Sourcing and Configuration Management to maintain a tightly interconnected team working towards the common goal of developing world-class wind turbines.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own the development and update of integrated program schedule budget resource identification and priority discussions for services programs from conception through product sunset.
• Coordinate deliverables execution and detailed schedules with Subsystem Program Managers to escalate visibility to critical path activities.
• Provide cross-functional product support working across Sourcing Manufacturing Projects Services and external parties to ensure that critical product development milestones are achieved.
• Facilitate issue resolution with close connection to the Services Systems Engineer and Product Manager including development of contingency plans and scenario planning.
• Communicate and escalate programmatic and technical risks to the program.
• Coordinate for change management execution to the product bill of materials.
• Assure compliance to engineering processes to maintain a high-quality standard of work outputs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or similar
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Program Management Operational Management Renewable Energy Engineering or related fields

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $98400.00 and $164000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
