About the Role
Where youll make an impact
This role supports Ruahs work across family and domestic violence (FDV) mental health and wellness housing and homelessness and Ruah Legal Services helping communicate complex and sensitive social issues through ethical visually engaging storytelling.
We are seeking a Digital Content & Design Officer to play a key creative role in shaping how Ruahs story is told across digital channels and visual media.
This role brings together design photography videography and digital storytelling to create compelling culturally respectful content that reflects Ruahs values in action. Youll manage social media content create onbrand design assets and help grow Ruahs digital presence through intentional ethical storytelling.
Working closely with the Marketing and Engagement Manager the wider Marketing & Engagement team and internal stakeholders youll support campaigns events service promotion and advocacy ensuring content is highquality consistent and aligned with Ruahs strategy and values.
This is a permanent fulltime position ideal for a creative professional operating at a Level 4 capability.
What youll bring
- Experience creating digital content across design social photography and/or video
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
- Experience managing or contributing to social media content calendars
- Strong visual storytelling skills with attention to quality and detail
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency
- Collaborative organised and comfortable working to deadlines
- Commitment to ethical culturally safe and dignifying storytelling
Nice to have
- Experience in a notforprofit or community services environment
- Familiarity with basic motion graphics analytics or CMS platforms
- Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design practices

- Salary aligned with Level 4 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (SCHADS Award) starting at over $88000 Super
