Job Summary
- Establish support install and manage IT infrastructure systems.
- Monitor to prevent incidents and optimize system performance.
- Resolve issues related to IT infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain system security measures.
- Develop backup and disaster recovery plans for the system.
- Integrate third-party components and products
- Maintain and document systems and IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development testing and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- University degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Computer Science Information Technology or other related fields.
- Experience in designing implementing and operating DR/DC systems.
- Strong experience operating servers and VMware virtualization infrastructure.
- Experience with Linux and system services.
- Experience operating Nginx proxy systems.
- Experience and knowledge of Windows services and servers.
- Experience working with backup systems and solutions.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix SolarWinds.
- Knowledge of log collection analysis and visualization tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack Splunk etc.
- Knowledge of networking and security is an advantage.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef is an advantage.
- Scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python PowerShell).
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases is an advantage.
- Knowledge of container orchestration and management tools like Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Preference for international certifications in systems networking or security fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in System Administration or similar roles.
- Preference for experience in securities finance banking or insurance sectors.
- Ability to research and explore features of new technologies for application in the companys model if suitable.
- Ability to handle pressure and enthusiasm for creative work.
- Teamwork skills.
- English: Ability to read and understand documentation. Preference for English communication skills.
