Job Summary

Sous Chef Luxury Private Game Reserve Sabi Sands

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef for a luxury private game reserve located in the Sabi Sands. This is an exceptional opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a high-end remote hospitality environment and is committed to delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Salary: Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)

Accommodation: Live-in position

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in the daily management of the kitchen

Ensure the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes

Supervise and train junior kitchen staff

Maintain high standards of hygiene cleanliness and food safety

Assist with menu planning and development incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients

Manage stock control ordering and waste minimisation

Step into the Head Chef role when required

Requirements

Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury lodge or high-end hospitality environment

Strong culinary skills with attention to detail and presentation

Ability to work well under pressure in a remote setting

Excellent leadership and team management abilities

Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
