Job Summary
Summary: The SAP JVA (Java Virtual Machine for ABAP) role within the S/4HANA environment involves supporting and optimizing the integration of Java-based components with SAPs next-generation ERP system. This position is critical for ensuring seamless application performance system stability and efficient data exchange across hybrid landscapes. The role supports enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives by maintaining robust scalable and secure Java-based solutions that align with S/4HANAs modern architecture and business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support SAP JVA components within the S/4HANA environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between Java-based applications and S/4HANA.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations for high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with ABAP and infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
- Participate in system upgrades patches and migration activities related to JVA and S/4HANA.
- Document configurations changes and incident resolutions for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience with SAP JVA and S/4HANA environments.
- Strong understanding of Java EE web services and integration technologies (e.g. XI/PI CPI).
- Knowledge of SAP system landscape architecture and security best practices.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager SAP HANA and system monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems and change management processes.
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA or related Java technologies is preferred.
