Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Professor Community Medicine to join the academic team of a reputed NMCrecognized medical college. The selected candidate will be responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching communitybased training academic research and participation in institutional and public health programs in line with NMC guidelines.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to medical education community health development and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Community Medicine
- Plan and deliver lectures tutorials practicals and fieldbased training
- Participate in community health programs and national health initiatives
- Contribute to academic research publications and CMEs
- Assist in examinations assessments and academic administration
- Ensure compliance with NMC university and institutional standards
Requirements
Educational Qualification
MD / DNB in Community Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine
Experience
- Minimum 1 year postPG teaching experience
- Senior Resident / Tutor / Assistant Professor
- Experience as per NMC regulations
Mandatory
- Publications as per NMC norms
- Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration
Skills & Competencies
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- Knowledge of public health programs and epidemiology
