1. JOB PURPOSE:
To drive and manage international business development for The Concrete Shop a design-led concrete brand by Aarya Precast India Pvt. Ltd. by generating export enquiries and developing global client relationships. The role focuses on end-to-end export sales management including lead generation client handling commercial negotiation order execution and compliance while ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong control over pricing risk and brand positioning across international markets.
2. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Export Lead Generation & Market Development
Identify and develop international business opportunities through:
- B2B platforms
- LinkedIn outreach
- International exhibitions and trade fairs
- Export agents and distributors
Conduct country-wise and region-wise market research
Identify high-potential markets and customer segments
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of international enquiries
Coordinate with marketing team for global brand visibility
B. Export Sales Process Management (CRM Driven)
Maintain complete export sales pipeline in CRM system
Track stages:
Enquiry Qualification Quotation Negotiation Order Dispatch Payment
Ensure no lead leakage and proper follow-up tracking
Maintain enquiry database and client communication logs
C. International Client Handling & Conversion
Understand client requirements specifications and project scope.
Share product details technical specifications and quotations.
Conduct regular follow-ups and negotiations to close deals.
Build long-term relationships with international clients. Ensure professional and timely communication at all stages
D. Commercial Control & Risk Management
Ensure pricing is aligned with company-approved margins
Avoid unauthorized discounts or commercial commitments
Ensure safe payment terms:
- Advance payment / Letter of Credit (LC) preferred
- Credit terms only with management approval
Conduct basic client verification before finalizing orders.
Avoid high-risk transactions without approval
E. Export Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and manage export documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Documents
- Certificates (if applicable)
Coordinate with freight forwarders CHA and logistics partners.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation standards.
F. Internal Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with design production and dispatch teams
Ensure timely production packaging and shipment
Track order progress and update clients regularly
Ensure commitment vs delivery alignment
G. Service Level & Response Time (SLA)
Respond to all international enquiries within 24 hours.
Share quotations within 48 hours.
Maintain a regular follow-up cycle (every 35 days).
Ensure timely updates to clients throughout order lifecycle.
H. Branding Ethics & Compliance
Maintain strong brand positioning of The Concrete Shop in international markets.
Ensure no false commitments or misleading information to clients.
Strictly prohibited:
- Unauthorized pricing or discounts
- Misrepresentation of product or company
- Unethical business practices
Ensure all activities follow company policies and global business standards.
I. Reporting MIS & Analytics
Maintain export MIS using CRM
Prepare and submit:
- Weekly pipeline report
- Monthly performance report
- Market insights and competitor analysis
Track performance metrics and provide improvement inputs
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR JOB
Education
Graduate / MBA (International Business / Marketing preferred)
Experience
26 years of experience in export sales or international business.
Experience in handling international clients and export processes preferred.
Experience in the construction materials / manufacturing industry is an advantage.
