Core Responsibilities and Duties

Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow reports.

Reconciliation & Accuracy: Reconciling general ledgers and bank statements and correcting discrepancies.

Tax Compliance: Computing taxes preparing tax returns (VAT income tax) and ensuring compliance with local/federal regulations.

Auditing & Internal Control: Conducting internal audits and maintaining internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.

Budgeting & Analysis: Forecasting cash flow analyzing financial data and providing recommendations to improve profits.

Transactional Management: Managing accounts payable/receivable invoicing and payroll.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Commerce.

Certifications: Professional certification such as CPA CA CMA or ACCA is highly valued.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Tally) and advanced Excel skills.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and financial reporting

Required Skills:

Work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
