Job Summary

Were looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our defence client based in Flintshire on an initial 6-month contract paying 20.52 per hour (Inside IR35).

This role offers hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office 3 days per week with more frequent attendance expected initially to get up to speed with the site team and role.

The successful Supply Chain Manager will be a proactive and organised individual with a solid understanding of supply chain and logistics operations. You will take ownership of a range of inventory and supply chain activities playing a direct role in supporting UK defence operational capability.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

Operating within a supply chain or logistics environment managing inventory demand and supply plans
Item data management and maintaining records on logistics information systems
Stakeholder engagement and delivering a high standard of customer service
Handling interpreting and reporting on data to inform supply chain decisions
Working within an agreed financial delegation and budget framework
Producing customs declaration documentation for compliant HMRC activities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel Word Outlook and Teams is required as is a full UK driving licence.

You will need to be able to obtain or hold SC clearance for this role.
