We are hiring a Staff Nurse Pre Assessment Clinic for a Hospital in South Dublin Ireland.
Job Title: Staff Nurse
Department: Pre-Assessment Clinic
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients families and the multidisciplinary team
Accurately collect analyse and interpret patient data to support clinical decision-making
Provide safe evidence-based nursing care in line with current standards policies and NMBI guidelines
Administer medications and treatments safely ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements
Educate patients on procedures recovery and discharge planning ensuring continuity of care
Maintain accurate up-to-date patient records and documentation including use of electronic systems
Promote a safe environment for patients visitors and staff adhering to infection prevention and control policies
Respond effectively to emergencies manage changing workloads and work with minimal supervision
Participate in quality improvement incident reporting team collaboration and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Registered with the NMBIs general division
- Have worked as a full-time or equivalent part-time nurse in an acute hospital setting for at least two years after becoming a registered nurse with one year spent in a surgical setting.
- Maintain a current Basic Life Support course.
- Anaesthetic experience is advantageous.
