Job Summary

Teach at a professional school located in Hangzhou China that -- since 2009 -- has been certified by the Chinese government for hiring foreign teachers to work legally in China.

Join the teaching staff that consists of aspiring and caring TESOL-certified professionals from native English countries who have gone through rigorous screening and training. We offer an authentic American classroom experience our core subject curriculum (Language Arts Math Science and Social Studies) is built upon the most rigorous and up-to-date standards in the US. The schools focus is to develop 21st Century Skills: digital literacy critical thinking and bilingual skills.

This wonderful school is located in Hangzhou the capital and the most populated city of Zhejiang Province in Southeast China. Its renowned for its historic relics and natural beauty. The citys West Lake is among its best-known attractions. Its often known as the Paradise on Earth in China.

The first ever G20 Summit to be hosted in China was held in Hangzhou in 2016. Direct trains link Hangzhou with more than 50 main cities. It takes less than an hour from Hangzhou to Shanghai by High-Speed train.

What does the job entail

- To teach young learners Oral English Arts Science and Math

- Follow core curriculum guidelines and classroom expectations

- Work together with your Chinese Teaching Assistant to facilitate a positive classroom environment

- Legal Z work visa provided

- Living and teaching support in China

- Students age: 3 8 years old

- Class size: 8 12 Students per class

- Working hours: 40 hours per week (including teaching and office hours)

- Office hours: normal or no office hours when handle 7 group classes

- Teaching hours: basic 6 classes 24 teaching-hours (about 16 hours) per week

when you have more classes it will rise.

- Class hours:

1 regular class 2 teaching-hours (2 periods 1 lesson40 mins)

1 demo class 1.5 teaching-hours (90 mins)

1 OW class 1 teaching-hour (40 mins)

1 activity class 1 teaching-hour (Opening Ceremony etc.) (60 mins)

1 outdoor class 1.5 teaching-hours (60 mins)

1 half-day class 4 teaching-hours (4 periods)

1 all-day class 6 teaching-hours (5 periods)

- Provided teaching materials: Textbook Lesson plan templates Activities

book Story books Multimedia devices Best Learning App/Software

- Holidays: 2 days off every week all Chinese national holidays 2 weeks paid

winter holidays 2 weeks unpaid summer holidays.

Requirements

- Native English Speaker

- Bachelor degree or higher

- A team player with excellent communication skills

- A passion for teaching kids

- Creative responsible open-minded knowledgeable

- Energetic

- 2 years working experience (not limited to teaching)

- 120 hours TEFL certification (preferred)

Preferably candidate currently lives and works in China
