Position Overview

The English Head Teacher will lead class teaching in a bilingual classroom setting. The role involves preparing daily weekly and monthly lesson plans according to school requirements communicating with parents completing assessments and portfolios on childrens development working closely with Chinese teachers to create a safe and caring classroom environment and assisting in coordinating and organizing special school events. This is a full-time position with 40 teaching hours per week 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily weekly and monthly lesson plans according to school requirements

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development

Complete assessments and portfolios on childrens developmental milestones

Work closely with fellow Chinese teachers to create a safe caring and friendly classroom environment

Assist in coordinating and organizing special school events

Native English speaker from USA UK Canada Australia or Ireland

Masters or Bachelors degree required

Major in Education Early Childhood Education or Psychology preferred

Age between 25 and 40 years old

More than 2 years working experience (excluding internship and probation experience)

Eligible for work visa in China

Salary: 23000 - 27000 RMB per month after tax housing allowance included

Summer holiday and winter holiday paid at 60 percent
