We offer fun activities and developmental learning opportunities for children while they are in Village Care. Your job as an Assistant Teacher is to assist the Lead Teacher and help children transition from one part of the day to the next while being a patient positive role model. We are seeking hands-on motivated assistant teachers who truly love spending time with early learners. This is an entry-level position
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Teacher in leading pre-planned activities and supervise children during Open Play times.
- Respond to childrens daily needs with flexibility patience and nurturing.
- Change diapers for younger children assist with snacks and lunch as needed.
- Supervise nap times and be able to keep the class rhythm flowing.
- Help prepare the classroom and materials for the upcoming days activities.
Requirements
1 years of experience with children in a coaching or babysitting capacity.
Experience leading activities and working with children ages 3m-3y.
Current CPR First-Aid Certification or willingness to become certified
Record of up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass a background check
Excellent attitude and proactive approach to work
