Contracted Hours
- 30 hours per week
- 2 weeks: 60 hours total
- 4 weeks: 120 hours total
- 5 weeks: 150 hours total

Contract Options
- 2-week contract: Weeks 45

Role Overview
Teach engaging English lessons to international teenagers and young adults while supporting their progress and overall experience in the program.
Key Responsibilities
Student Supervision
- Act in loco parentis to ensure student safety welfare and discipline at all times
- Enforce the YES USA Student Code of Conduct
- Report any issues to management and take appropriate action
Academic Duties
- Deliver high-quality English lessons following the YES USA curriculum
- Adapt and supplement materials as needed
- Be prepared to teach without technology or materials if necessary
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate attendance records
- Monitor student performance and progress
- Submit weekly evaluation reports on time
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions
- Take and upload student photos for internal use or social media
- Assist with and co-lead end-of-course ceremonies
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (TESOL or related field preferred)
- CELTA TEFL or TESOL (or equivalent certification)
- Experience teaching ESL to teenagers
- Strong communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
