The Oncology OutcomesResearch(O2R) team is composed ofhighfunctioning individuals with exceptional strategictechnicaland communication skills. The team is a key member of the Evidence Generation and External Alliances Organization within the Global Medical function and develops strategy for and delivers impactful real world economic and patient reported research for the AZ oncology portfolio. The mission is to focus onidentifying quantifying and presenting the medical value proposition of molecules in the oncology portfolio. O2R is a key thought partner for the Franchise leads and an important member of the Global Medical Team and the US Core Medical Team. Activities focus on the generation of evidence toassistpayerand health careprovider(HCP) decision-makers and include scientific evidence forreimbursementdossiers and market access. The deliverables from this team have a significant impact on the success of the global medical strategy.

The Associate Directoris an individual contributor role and will be a crucial member of an Asset team that is collectively responsible for delivering strategic plans and implementing projects.The Associate Director reports to the Asset Lead Oncology Outcomes Research and willbe responsible forleading the execution of health outcomes and real-world strategies and studies on a global and US market level. This role is also responsible for working with key internal collaborators supporting the execution and communication of studies. This position requires an individual with scientific knowledge of HEOR and its application throughoutdevelopmentprocess business insight and interpersonal skills.

What Youll Do:

  • Responsible for the execution of the Asset strategy for the Oncology Outcomes Research team and other activities to assessquantifyand communicate the value proposition for the asset.

  • Responsible for specific Global and US Regional health outcomes strategy.

  • Conduct superior quality research that is medically relevant scientifically valid and aligned with the evidence generation and communication needs

  • Will support asset leads and work with outcomes researchers with diverse technical skills

  • Present research findings at scientific congresses andparticipatein the development and writing of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals

  • Translate output from research into tools and resources for field teams

  • Maintain relationships and budgets with vendors to ensuretimelycompletion of high quality projects

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the disease state market & customer dynamics the competitive landscape and reimbursement issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Bachelors degree in health economics epidemiology outcomes research and/or related disciplines.

  • Understanding and knowledge and application of epidemiological/health outcomesmethodologywithinpharmaceuticalindustry at an international level.

  • In-depthexpertisewith research methods for real world research HEOR projects including pharmacoepidemiologic models.

  • Demonstrates analyticaljudgmentand problem-solving skills.

  • Travel-10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Scientific degree

  • Standoutcolleagueandsupportsthe asset team within the O2R organization.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.

The annual base salary (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $ 150202.40 - $225303.60 However base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and addition our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical prescription drug dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
