Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to patients in the cardiology and critical care unit
Perform physical examinations and evaluate patient health status
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Participate in patient rounds and contribute to care discussions
Requirements
Associate degree in Nursing or related field
Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant license
Previous experience in cardiology or critical care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols
Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs
Schedule: 7a-7p
22-bed pediatric cardiac ICU
Patient Census: 11-12 per shift
Will cover all stat-level patients
Must have pediatric cardiac ICU experience
Must be board-certified
