. This contract position is an on-site role that offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment providing essential care to patients with cardiovascular and critical health needs.

In this role you will play a crucial part in our medical practice collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing diagnosing and managing patients in critical condition ensuring they receive the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the cardiology and critical care unit
  • Perform physical examinations and evaluate patient health status
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Participate in patient rounds and contribute to care discussions

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or related field
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant license
  • Previous experience in cardiology or critical care preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs

Schedule: 7a-7p

22-bed pediatric cardiac ICU

Patient Census: 11-12 per shift

Will cover all stat-level patients

Must have pediatric cardiac ICU experience

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
