Distribution Associate II- Standup Forklift
Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse forklift shipping / receiving experience. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration markets. - Preference is to have someone with prior warehouse experience comfortable with computers extensive standup forklift experience.
LOCATION: DeSoto TX 75115
POSITION: Right to Hire
PAY RATE: 18.00 hour
HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm
DUTIES:
- Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
- Under general supervision performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
- Receives goods verifies items against the record of shipment and inspects condition.
- Gathers verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Routes materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Completes written and computerized documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Forklift Certified
- Standup Forklift
- Steel Toe Boots
- Drug Test
- Background Check
ABILITIES:
- Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
- Requires basic reading writing and numerical ability.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
