Our client is an e-commerce technology company that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic HR Director to partner closely with the Founder and CEO as a trusted advisor in shaping and executing the companys people strategy. This role is critical in driving organizational transformation as we evolve into an AI-first company.
You will work directly with the leadership team (BOD) to build a high-performing empowered and globally scalable organizationwhere the right people are in the right roles and each individual is enabled to create meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnership & Leadership
- Act as a strategic partner to the Founder/CEO on all people-related decisions
- Co-create and drive the overall HR strategy aligned with business goals and AI-first vision
- Participate in leadership discussions and influence organizational direction
2. HR Team Development & Execution
- Build lead and scale a high-performing HR team (HRM Recruitment C&B IC EP)
- Ensure strong execution capabilities across all HR functions
- Establish effective delegation coordination and performance management within the HR team
3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead hiring for critical and strategic roles especially for international expansion (APAC markets such as Shenzhen Ho Chi Minh City Singapore Sydney)
- Develop scalable recruitment strategies to attract top global talent
4. Organizational Culture & Employer Branding
- Define and embed strong core values that reflect the companys identity
- Foster a startup culture with builder mindset ownership and adaptability
- Position the company as an attractive employer in the eCommerce/SaaS space
5. Learning & Development
- Design and implement training programs that integrate AI tools and methodologies
- Upskill employees to thrive in a rapidly evolving tech-driven environment
6. Compensation Benefits & Global Policies
- Develop competitive and fair compensation structures aligned with international markets
- Ensure compliance and effectiveness across multiple regions
7. AI-Driven HR Transformation
- Apply AI and automation in HR processes including recruitment evaluation and operations
- Champion the adoption of AI as a core capability across the organization
Requirements
Must-have Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources with proven experience in managerial roles (HRM level or above)
- Strong expertise across core HR functions: Talent Acquisition C&B Learning & Development and Employee Relations
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to make fair objective and impactful decisions
- Demonstrated leadership capability in leading and developing teams of 515 members
- Strong communication skills in English (equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above)
- High ownership proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced low-bureaucracy environment
- Tech-savvy with a strong willingness to adopt and apply AI in HR practices
- Long-term commitment and motivation to create meaningful organizational impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of outstanding achievements in career or education
- Experience working in tech companies SaaS or startup environments
- Exposure to international recruitment or multicultural working environments
- Hands-on experience implementing AI or automation in HR processes
- Experience in employer branding and talent marketing
