Finance Manager

On behalf of our client we are hiring a Finance Manager to support their newly established internal team in Vietnam. Our client is a dynamic and ambitious Destination Management Company (DMC) and inbound travel agency expanding its footprint.

Joining the team as a Finance Manager you will become the founding member of their in-house finance department reporting directly to the this highly strategic and hands-on role you will successfully transition financial operations from an outsourced agency build rigorous internal controls from the ground up and prepare the companys financial and legal frameworks for future investments and potential public listing.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations: Take full ownership of daily financial operations ensuring strict compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations statutory reporting and local legal requirements.
  

• Vendor & Supplier Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable overseeing financial relations negotiations and reconciliations with travel vendors suppliers and global partners.
  

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop comprehensive financial models annual budgets and cash flow forecasts to support sustainable business growth.
  

• Internal Controls: Design and implement rigorous internal financial controls standard operating procedures (SOPs) and risk management policies from the ground up.
  

• Strategic Investments & Legal: Partner with the CEO to evaluate investment opportunities ensuring the companys financial and legal frameworks are robust.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  

• 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
  

• Proven experience working within a Travel Agency Hospitality or DMC (Destination Management Company) environment is a plus.
  

• Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong grasp of corporate investment financial laws and business structuring.
  

• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency is required to communicate with the CEO effectively and international stakeholders.
  

• Solid understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards tax and compliance regulations.
  

• Strong hands-on experience with accounting systems and reporting tools.
  

• Highly detail-oriented and hands-on be comfortable working independently as a department of one while laying the groundwork to build a team in the future.
  

• Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
  

• Knowledge of IPO preparation is a massive advantage.
  

• Candidates currently at a Chief Accountant level who possess strong strategic capabilities and are ready to step up are also highly encouraged to apply.
