Job Summary
- Prepare and manage cost estimatesbudgets and tender documents for construction works.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis based on drawings and specifications.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and recommend award of contracts.
- Monitor project costs track variations and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Prepare progress claims variation orders and final accounts.
- Liaise with consultants contractors and project stakeholders on cost-related matters.
- Perform site measurements and verify completed works for payment certification.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms procurement procedures and local regulations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation reports and cost records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying Building Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure or civil projects (roads tunnels or MRT)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control practices.
- Proficient in measurement cost estimation software and MS Office applications.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to work in fast-paced project environments.
