We are looking for an Outbound Telesales Specialist to drive proactive sales outreach engage prospective business clients and build meaningful relationships through structured discovery conversations. The role focuses on identifying qualified prospects initiating high-volume outbound calls and guiding potential customers through consultative sales discussions to understand their needs and introduce suitable solutions. This role is critical for generating new business opportunities strengthening the sales pipeline and supporting sustained revenue growth through strategic prospect engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective business clients to introduce products or services and generate new sales opportunities.
- Perform structured outreach activities completing approximately 50100 outbound calls daily while maintaining strong engagement with prospects.
- Identify and qualify leads through discovery conversations to understand client needs challenges and purchasing potential.
- Perform consultative selling by presenting solutions aligned with the prospects operational requirements and business goals.
- Engage in targeted outreach to industry-specific prospects including hospitality and café businesses to expand the client base.
- Coordinate product sampling outreach initiatives and maintain communication with prospects following sample delivery.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with warm and cold leads to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Track and manage sales activities lead status and opportunity progress through structured pipeline management practices.
- Achieve daily call targets while maintaining strong conversation and engagement rates with prospects.
- Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with potential clients through consistent communication and trust-building practices.
- Document customer interactions insights and outcomes to support accurate reporting and sales forecasting.
Requirements
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in telesales outbound sales B2B sales or a related sales role.
- Strong consultative selling and customer qualification skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and professional English proficiency.
- Familiarity with business practices communication styles and customer expectations within the Australian market.
- Proven ability to conduct high-volume outbound calls and manage daily dialing targets effectively.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and tracking leads using CRM or sales management tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and curiosity to uncover customer needs through discovery conversations.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships with prospective clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with international markets and business communication practices is an advantage.
