Senior Accountant

One of the fastest-growing FMCG brands in Nigeria who deliver quality food products to thousands of householdsis looking to expand and hire a skilled Accountant to join the finance team.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  
• Pass the production entry and reconcile the stocks on daily basis
  
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process efficiency.
  
• Performing general ledger accounting process; including ensuring timing and accurate recoding of transactions for sales Purchases receipts and payment and ensuring accounts reconciliations
  
• Managing Inventory of Raw Material Work in Progress and Finished goods across multiple warehouse and store locations
  
• Managing accounts receivable and payables for customers and suppliers
  
• Support month end quarterly and year end management account and financial reporting and ensuring compliance with IFRS and other applicable regulations
  
• Ensuring regular bank statement reconciliation and petty cash management
  
• Ability to work with accounting software like Tally Prime or Tally ERP
  
• Managing fixed asset register
  
• Provide support in developing and implementing annual budget financial forecast and planning processes
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  
• Professional certification (ICAN ACCA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  
• Minimum 45 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in FMCG or manufacturing (Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in manufacturing industry).
  
• Strong knowledge of IFRS tax regulations and financial reporting.
  
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
  
• High level of integrity attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
