Job Summary
Objectives & Purpose of Job
The Account Executive is responsible for achieving annual sales objectives within an assigned customer base in the Malaysian market. The role focuses on high-level customer relationship management sales execution operational support and the promotion of a leading portfolio of vision care and eye health products.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Promotion:
Achieve sales targets through disciplined journey planning and persuasive selling.
Execute quarterly promotional objectives using Persuasive Selling Skills (PSS) presentations.
Secure and maintain premium merchandising space and POSM (Point of Sale Materials) in territory outlets.
Monitor market throughput trends to increase the companys "share of spend" within assigned accounts.
Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with trade customers.
Gather local business intelligence and understand customer profiles and classifications.
Provide detailed product information and support to customers and consumers.
Operational Support & Compliance:
Master Salesforce (SFDC) for managing selling objectives inventory and sell-through reports.
Manage administrative processes including sales ordering product exchanges/returns and consumer complaints.
Oversee credit terms and sales collections for territory accounts.
Promptly report all adverse events or product complaints to the regional compliance administrator.
Key Relationships
Internal: Sales Manager Marketing Finance Customer Service and Supply Chain.
Eternal: Trade Customers Consumers and Distributors.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: SPM or higher.
Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector is highly preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and knowledge of the vision care industry are significant advantages.
Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
