Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing or production operations ensuring that products are made efficiently safely and meet quality standards. They manage workers coordinate processes and ensure production targets are achieved.
1. Production Planning & Execution
- Plan and organize daily production schedules
- Ensure production targets are met on time
- Monitor workflow and adjust schedules if needed.
2. Team Management
- Supervise production workers and operators
- Assign duties and monitor performance
- Train new employees and improve team skills
- Maintain discipline and teamwork on the shop floor
3. Quality Control
- Ensure products meet quality standards
- Work closely with QA/QC teams
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions
4. Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in production processes
- Implement lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
- Reduce waste and increase productivity
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety standards are followed
- Conduct safety training and audits
- Maintain compliance with company and legal regulations
6. Equipment & Maintenance Coordination
- Ensure machines are working properly
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs
- Minimize downtime and breakdowns
7. Inventory & Material Management
- Monitor raw materials and supplies
- Coordinate with stores/warehouse
- Prevent shortages or overstocking
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain production reports and logs
- Track KPIs (output efficiency downtime)
- Report issues to management
Required Skills:
3 years plus experience in similar role preferably in electronics manufacturing industry
Required Education:
Any graduate
