Job Summary
- Support the development implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct product inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality specifications; document findings and initiate corrective actions for nonconformities.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to identify the source of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to enhance process efficiency and reduce defects.
- Partner with suppliers to resolve quality concerns monitor performance and ensure the consistency and quality of incoming materials and components.
- Maintain accurate and compliant quality documentation including procedures work instructions inspection records and corrective action reports.
- Deliver training and mentorship to team members on quality principles tools and best practices to promote a quality-first mindset.
- Track and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators; prepare regular management updates on quality trends and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and certifications including ISO 9001 FDA and AS9100 as relevant to the industry.
- Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify systemic issues drive resolution and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance standards (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100).
- Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (e.g. 5 Whys Fishbone Pareto Analysis).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and training delivery capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and quality management software tools.
Required Skills:
