*Responsibilities:*
- Deliver structured interactive and age-appropriate lessons in Social Studies (History Geography Civics and Economics) for grades 610.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the CBSE/State Board curriculum and educational standards.
- Utilize diverse teaching aids digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
- Assess student learning through regular quizzes assignments projects and examinations; provide timely feedback.
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with parents and academic coordinators to support individual learning needs.
- Participate in faculty meetings curriculum development sessions and professional development workshops.
- Promote values such as integrity respect and social responsibility through classroom activities and discussions.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities including debates quizzes cultural events and field trips related to social studies.
- Maintain accurate academic records and ensure compliance with school administrative and reporting requirements.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience with project-based learning and interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
- Familiarity with CBSE or State Board syllabi and examination patterns.
- Experience in organizing student-led social studies projects or community awareness initiatives.
Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Social Studies History Geography or a related field; . (Specialization in Social Studies) is mandatory.
- Valid teaching certification as per state/central government norms (e.g. CTET or equivalent).
- 25 years of proven teaching experience in a school setting preferably in grades 610.
- Strong subject knowledge in History Geography Political Science and Economics.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools (e.g. smart boards LMS platforms Google Classroom).
- Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- Ability to design creative lesson plans and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles.
