Job Summary
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care services.
We are currently hiring a Senior Respiratory Physiologist to join a hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and analyse full polysomnography sleep studies and CPAP titration studies in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of respiratory diagnostic procedures ensuring accurate measurements and interpretation of results.
- Train mentor and supervise junior staff members within the department.
- Communicate effectively with consultants general practitioners (GPs) and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and clinical requirements.
- Ensure the timely completion analysis and reporting of patient diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date departmental records and documentation.
- Build and maintain professional and respectful relationships with patients and hospital departments.
- Order manage and store medical supplies in line with organisational policies.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in respiratory physiology.
- Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills as medical technologies and procedures evolve.
- Attend departmental and hospital meetings as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Clinical Physiology / Clinical Measurement Science from Technological University Dublin
- M.P.P.M Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Technological University Dublin
or an equivalent recognised qualification. - Minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in respiratory testing and sleep studies.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach to quality control and continuous service improvement.
- Paediatric experience is desirable but not essential.

Required Skills:
