Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care services.

We are currently hiring a Senior Respiratory Physiologist to join a hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and analyse full polysomnography sleep studies and CPAP titration studies in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of respiratory diagnostic procedures ensuring accurate measurements and interpretation of results.
  • Train mentor and supervise junior staff members within the department.
  • Communicate effectively with consultants general practitioners (GPs) and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and clinical requirements.
  • Ensure the timely completion analysis and reporting of patient diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date departmental records and documentation.
  • Build and maintain professional and respectful relationships with patients and hospital departments.
  • Order manage and store medical supplies in line with organisational policies.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in respiratory physiology.
  • Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills as medical technologies and procedures evolve.
  • Attend departmental and hospital meetings as required.





Requirements

  • Degree in Clinical Physiology / Clinical Measurement Science from Technological University Dublin

  • M.P.P.M Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Technological University Dublin
    or an equivalent recognised qualification.

  • Minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in respiratory testing and sleep studies.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive approach to quality control and continuous service improvement.
  • Paediatric experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Required Skills:
