Senior Project Manager (AML Tech)
Job Summary
Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Coordinate the end-to-end IT delivery of projects spanning multiple risk functions including Compliance Fraud and AML. The role operates in a hybrid capacity primarily functioning as a Project Manager while also supporting Business Analysis activities. Responsibilities include managing project timelines gathering and documenting business requirements and ensuring effective integration across various risk and control functions. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment completeness of deliverables and successful implementation of technology solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
.Maintain project oversight and governance
.Ensure project compliance to PMO standards and provide project linkage to the Strategy & Performance Management team to meet project/program KPIs and strategic objectives.
.Drive project through full-lifecycle from initiation through planning & execution to closure.
.Facilitates risk management escalating risks issues impediments and dependencies.
.Work with IT development teams in each of the functions on the functional delivery
.Project requirements gathering management and communication and maintenance
.Stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
.Coordinate UAT all new software in isolated systems simulations
.Observe and identify all current and potential gaps and improvement opportunities
.Schedule meetings with stakeholders and business users to provide status updates on projects
.Keep track of schedule and resources and provide timely status updates to the business and the senior management team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have:
.University degree and/or equivalent work experience
.Excellent business communication and stakeholder management skills
.Broad knowledge of Investment banking environments
.Strong organizational project management and time management capabilities.
.A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
.Scrum and/or PMP
.8 Years of project management experience with experience of managing large projects across multiple user groups
.Prior background in requirements analysis and/ or hands-on development will be a big plus
Nice-to-have:
.Requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis Interviews facilitated workshops observation prototyping focus groups surveys
.MS Office Suite Jira Confluence Tableau
.Requirements analysis and documentation
.Requirements management and communication
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.
