Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role involves managing a diverse book of business nurturing client relationships and providing exceptional service to valued customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in-office depending on your location.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $60000 - $75000 per year commensurate with experience.

• Work Arrangement: Flexible options for in-office or remote work for candidates located in West Virginia North Carolina or south of Richmond Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business valued at approximately $8 million in premium including accounts ranging from $3000 to $1 million.
• Service accounts across various industries including municipalities workers compensation non-profits and coal mining.
• Handle all aspects of account management from A to Z ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
• Quote new and renewal business leveraging your expertise to provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients understanding and addressing their unique needs.
• Utilize Vertafore (AMS360) software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance account management.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to adapt to the West Virginia/Virginia culture.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Vertafore (AMS360) software is preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience working with independent agencies is highly desirable. Familiarity with accounts in municipalities workers compensation non-profits and coal mining is a plus.
