Job Summary
Overview
The Chemical Process Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing specialized cleaning processes on components and materials to meet stringent industry cleanliness standards. This role supports high-reliability applications (e.g. aerospace medical or semiconductor) by ensuring parts are free of contaminants and meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Salary: $23- $28/hr DOE
Responsibilities

Perform precision cleaning of parts using approved methods (e.g. aqueous cleaning solvent cleaning ultrasonic cleaning).
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including ultrasonic tanks DI water systems and drying systems.
Follow detailed work instructions process specifications and customer requirements.
Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness standards (visual inspection particulate analysis NVR testing etc.).
Handle sensitive components in controlled environments including cleanrooms when required.
Document all work performed including process parameters inspection results and deviations.
Package cleaned parts in accordance with cleanliness and contamination control standards.
Apply 5S standards to laboratory work areas.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance quality efficiency and consistency.
Adhere to all safety protocols including proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
Skills / Qualifications
Detail-oriented with strong observational skills
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with laboratory equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organizational and time management skills
Willingness to learn specialized cleaning techniques and standards
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree preferred
13 years of experience in a manufacturing laboratory or technical environment (precision cleaning experience a plus)
Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices preferred
Ability to read and follow technical procedures and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
