Position Summary:
The Substation Civil Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing all civil construction activities associated with electrical substation projects. This role oversees planning execution and delivery of site development foundations structural concrete grounding trenching drainage systems and related infrastructure required for substation construction.
The Project Manager leads field teams and subcontractors while ensuring projects are completed safely on schedule within budget and in compliance with contract documents and project specifications. The position works closely with superintendents engineers subcontractors and utility clients to coordinate construction activities and resolve field issues.

Position Summary:

- Manage civil construction activities including site development earthwork drilled foundations concrete structures grounding trenching drainage and underground utilities.
- Oversee field operations superintendents and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient construction.
- Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and cost forecasts.
- Review construction drawings specifications and contracts; manage RFIs submittals and change orders.
- Track project progress and address schedule or cost impacts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards quality requirements and project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients engineers inspectors and internal project teams.
- Manage project documentation reporting and closeout activities.
- 510 years of construction project management experience.
- Experience with utility heavy civil or substation construction projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods including earthwork foundations and structural concrete.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Able and willing to travel regularly to different project sites throughout the country.
