Role Title:Data Protection Coordinator

Hours:35 hours per week MondayFriday

Salary:35215 - 44018per annum(salary offered dependent on experience)

Contract:Permanent

Location:Hybrid between our Mariner House Dartfordofficeand home

We are looking for aData Protection Coordinatorto join our team and play a key role in supporting a strong culture of data protection compliance and continuous improvement across theorganisation.

This isan important rolewhere you will support the Data Protection Lead in ensuring Moat meets its legal and regulatory obligations. You willbe responsible forcoordinating and administering a wide range of data protection activities helping to safeguard personal data and uphold the rights of our customers and colleagues.

As a Data Protection Coordinator you will act as a first point of contact for data protection queries manage Subject Access Requests and support the handling of personal data breaches. You will work collaboratively across teams ensuring robust processes arefollowedand that compliance is clearlyevidenced.

You will also contribute to improving how we manage data protection bymaintainingkey registers supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments and helping to embed best practice across theorganisation.

This is a varied and impactful role that requires strong attention to detail excellentorganisationalskills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

WhatWereLooking For

We are looking for a proactive and detailoriented individual with a strong understanding of data protection principles and a passion for compliance service improvement and highquality customer outcomes.

You will be confident working with sensitive information managing competing priorities and communicating clearly and empathetically with a wide range of stakeholders including handling complex or challenging customer cases in a professional and solutionfocused way.

Essential

  • Knowledge of data protection legislation and data subject rights
  • Experience supporting or administering DSAR processes
  • Experience within the housing sector or a customer-focused environment
  • Strong experience engaging with customers and representatives
  • Experience working in a small team to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to communicate complex or technical information clearly
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (particularly Word)
  • Experience using customer databases data protection systems and SharePoint
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
