Department of Psychology Graduate Assistant Pool |
POSITION | The Department of Psychology at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Graduate Assistant Pool. We welcome applications from current CSUF graduate students in the Psychology department to assist in the following subject areas: - Intro to Stats Research Methods
- Learning and Memory
- Sensation and Perception
- Cognitive Psychology
- Biopsychology
Assist by conducting discussion groups supervise lab activities perform demonstrations assist faculty in developing source material operate equipment assist with experiments assist in evaluating student work and exams and arrange data. This is a pool of Graduate Assistant for the department to draw on as necessary. ASSIGNMENTS ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MAY BE OFFERED COURSE ASSIGNMENTS ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. |
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS | - Candidates must be a currently enrolled graduate student in the Psychology department
- A bachelors degree in Psychology or related field or equivalent experience.
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students including first-generation college students
- Candidates should have a background in the subject area of the lab

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS | For Federal Work Study (FWS) applicants you must: - Be awarded FWS for the academic year
- Maintain enrollment of at least 6 units per semester
- Review and meet the FWS eligibility requirements

COMPENSATION | All Graduate Assistant appointments are made under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the United Auto Workers.
Classification Range: $3245 to $6072 per month Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications not to exceed $5200
The full-time monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the time base assigned. |
