Cosmetology Learning Instructor

At Paul Mitchell The School in Pasadena CA we are searching for a full-time Cosmetology Learning Instructor to join our team.

WHATS THE SCOPE

We offer a pay range of $20 $22 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

This is a full-time on-site position. Youll work hands-on in our Clinic Classroom with Future Professionals and lead engaging classes.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As a Cosmetology Learning Instructor you will plan and teach classes on haircutting grooming hair color cosmetology theory and professional development all through the lens of the Paul Mitchell systems and culture. Youll spend your time working side-by-side with our Future Professionals in the Clinic Classroom supporting them as they deliver guest services. You will actively coach and assist students providing technical guidance along with essential salon success skills like guest consultations re-booking and retailing. Through your leadership you will model the Paul Mitchell culture and set a standard of positive professional habits for everyone around you.

WHATS REQUIRED

• Current California Cosmetology license
• 3 years of full-time experience working as a cosmetologist
• Salon/barber shop experience with strong results in building clientele up-selling rebooking and retailing
• Excellent organization coaching and communication skills
• Skills in supervision teamwork documentation and return on investment
• Passion for the beauty and barbering industries
• Honesty and professionalism
• Passion for educating learning and helping others
• Teaching experience (major plus)
• Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools cultural and technical systems (preferred)
