About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6900 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking dedicated and experiencedSpeed and Strength Coaches to lead and develop our STMA Community Education Speed and Strength program.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for training young athletes of varying skill levels developing effective practice plans and instilling discipline and teamwork. Key duties include teaching lifting techniques preparing athletes for competitions andensuring a safe and motivating environment. Strong leadership communication skills and apassion for mentoring athletes are essential. Previous coaching experience and a deep understanding of weight and speed training are preferred.
Age ranges:Sessions will include students ranging from 6th-12th grade.
Start Date:June 8th
Contract: Seasonal June 8 - August 6 2026
Schedule:Mon - Thu 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Salary and Benefits:
Starting Rate: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
No benefit eligibility other thanEarned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching.
Must be 18 years old.
