General Summary and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting daytoday accounting operations maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with monthend and yearend close activities. This is a remote position that works closely with the accounting team and business partners to ensure financial data is accurate timely and compliant with company policies and applicable accounting standards. Minimal travel may be required on an asneeded basis.

Key Responsibilities to Include:

• Prepare and record journal entries including accruals prepaids reclassifications and depreciation
• Assist with monthend and yearend close processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
• Maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts
• Track and report capital expenditures (CAPEX) including additions disposals and transfers
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger ensuring accuracy of asset capitalization depreciation and retirements
• Prepare periodic CAPEX reporting for management including budgettoactual analysis and project tracking
• Ensure capitalization policies are applied consistently and in accordance with GAAP
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams (FP&A Operations IT) in a remote environment
• Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
• Perform ad hoc accounting analysis and projects as they are assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• 03 years of accounting or related experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables lookups formulas)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems and accounting software
• CPA or CPAeligible a plus
• Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliations
