Job Summary

QUALIFICATIONS:
Skilled in the maintenance of school district building facilitiesequipment and grounds relative to caring cleaningrepairing and replacing
REPORTS TO:
Building Evaluator or designee
SUPERVISES:
None
JOB GOAL:
To be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas ofthe site building plant facilities grounds and equipment
TERM:
Twelve (12) months
SALARY:
Custodian Salary Schedule-NIV
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete maintenance activities of building facilities equipment and grounds as directed by head custodian building evaluator or custodial supervisor.
- Follow state school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings equipment and supplies.
- Maintain and/or prepare equipment and supplies as necessary for various
- Report safety hazards to
- Submit requests for janitorial materials supplies equipment as needed
- Work cooperatively with other custodial staff head custodian building evaluator custodial supervisor and other school district personnel as necessary to perform assigned duties.
- Adhere to schedule for routine and special tasks as approved by the building evaluator and head
- Attend in-service training as required by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
- Follow federal state and Rapides Parish School District policies
