We are seeking a passionate student-centered Performing Arts educator to teach junior high and/or high school choral and theater courses within a collaborative department. - Deliver engaging instruction in choral and theater arts for junior high and/or high school students
- Teach assigned courses including theater and choir offerings
- Plan and implement lessons that develop performance and technical skills
- Provide vocal instruction including technique and ensemble development
- Support rehearsals with piano accompaniment as needed
- Create a positive student-centered classroom environment
- Collaborate with performing arts faculty and support department initiatives
- Participate in concerts performances and school events
- Direct or assist with after-school theater productions (stipend eligible)
- Integrate faith and a Biblical worldview into instruction and student engagement
- Support students artistic personal and spiritual growth
- Use instructional technology for grading communication and curriculum delivery
- Engage in ongoing professional personal and spiritual development

- Introduction to Theater (Junior High)
- Stagecraft (Junior High)
- Junior High Choir (Boys and/or Girls)
- High School Choir (Mixed Ensembles)
- After-school theatrical productions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Agrees with Cascade Christian SchoolsStatement of FaithandTeaching Statements
- Washington State certification or meets requirements consistent with Chapter 180-90 WAC
- Willingness to become ACSI certified
- Knowledge and application of educational technology
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Be customer-service and public relations-focused
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work flexibility
- A Christian role model in attitude speech and action
- Able to attend devotions faculty meetings after-school and evening functions
- First-aid and CPR-certified or willing to receive and pass certification training
- Background Check Clearance
- Prefer one to three years of prior teaching experience
START DATE:
Approximately August 19 2026
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
SALARY RANGE:
$42686 - $57895 depending onqualificationsand experience
