Position Overview
We are seeking a Small Business Account Manager to support and manage a diverse book of commercial lines clients with premiums under $30K. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships.
You will take ownership of accounts once new business is bound ensuring smooth servicing accurate coverage and ongoing client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a book of small business commercial accounts across various industries (construction LROs restaurants health services etc.)
- Process new and renewal policies ensuring accuracy and appropriate coverage
- Handle endorsements audits cancellations reinstatements and certificates/evidence of insurance
- Respond to client inquiries including billing coverage questions and policy changes
- Support account rounding by advising clients on additional coverage options
- Collaborate with Sales Executives by providing documentation and account insights
- Submit renewals to incumbent carriers and assist in maintaining retention
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License (or willingness to obtain)
- 3 years of commercial lines account management experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
