Process Technician

THE ROLE:

Our site in Bloomington MN is seeking a Process Technician to join our team.

This role will focus onfixturing/tooling continuous improvement projects trainingtroubleshooting assemblyand will use metrics and data to understand where opportunities exist and be able to execute projects from start to finishimplementingyour ideas. You will alsobe responsible forproviding technical support to manufacturing including providing manufacturingassistanceand support for New and/or Existing Product and Process lines; process continuous improvements and developing programs for set up guidelines.

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 6AM-2PM. THERE WILL BE TIMES WHEN THE WORK HOURS WILL NEED TO BE FLEXIBLE BASED ON THE PROJECT AND PRODUCTION DEMANDS.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Works with engineering staffmanufacturingand other team members to improve product manufacturability and feasibilitysuch as implementing manufacturing prototype partsdesigningand building fixtures planning and organizing layout processes for work cells and assembly in implementing cost reduction solutions forthe all suggestions and changesonprocesses instructions and routings.

• Developsand executestraining plansfor operators and technicians to ensure that onboardingsuccessionplanning and skill gaps aremonitoredand addressed as needed.

• Leads and executes continuous improvement projects toresolveproblems or concerns that arise during the manufacturing processor feedback from staff or customers.

• Update and create documentation of critical business processes to ensure that knowledge isretainedandstored in the proper locations.

• Monitors product visually and takes corrective action when product is consistent with established quality issues as productquality and adherence to the Entegris quality systemISOand/or other all boxes are packaged and closed per packaging specifications.

• Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction waste elimination growth costeffectivenessand product/system and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value actively in continuous improvement activities such as 5s Kaizen events etc.

• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

• Maintains a clean and safe work Protective duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.

WHAT WE SEEK:

• Minimum7years ofElectrical/Mechanical assembly and troubleshootingexperience

• Laser and/or Optics experience preferred

• Previousmanufacturing-basedsolderingexperiencerequired industrycertificationpreferred

• Vocationalor Bachelor leveleducationpreferred

• Ability tooperatemanufacturing equipment

• Ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays as needed

• Ability to adapt toworkenvironment workforceand customers needs.

• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.

• Ability to lift40lbsandwalk and stand duringshift.

• Good visual ability to detect quality defects.

• Compensation: $25-$32 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
