Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Students work to maintain clean habitats for turtles in the vivarium and atrium ensuring the turtles have adequate food and clean water.

Dispose of dirty habitat water Fill habitats with clean water
Provide adequate supply of food
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Animal handling experience
Able to work during scheduled academic breaks
Dependable and punctual
Able to work with limited supervision
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires crouching stooping twisting/pivoting reaching overhead grasping/handling pushing/pulling lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs. operating hand tools and operating equipment or machinery to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to respiratory factors and wet or humid conditions indoors and heights or cramped quarters as well as rare exposure to chemicals to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required for some essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
